Seeing her young mistress practice her dancing was something Willow would not miss. She agreed to join them for practicing. They were soon in the aveverage size ball room of the Phantomhive estate had. With a small groan Ciel told Sebastian to set up the piano.

Sebastian did so and was about to sit down when he smiled and walked over to Willow. “On second thought,” he said. “I believe that I would like to share the first dance with a lovely lady such as yourself.” He took Willow’s hands in his and smiled. “May I have this dance?”   Mahia smiled and walked over to the piano and sat down. “It wouldn’t be a dance without music.” she said, as she started to play a slow waltz.

Willow once again felt her face grow red as she felt her hands slip into Sebastian’s. He frimly grasped Willow’s hands in his as he began to twirl them around the room. “you seem nervous” Sebastian said as if he could hear Willow’s thoughts. “It has been a while” Willow explained “Most of the time I just dance alone.” Sebastian smiled and spun her around “But I am sure you can not be as bad a dancer as my young master.” Willow smiled a little bit “With a teacher like you he will be the best dancer at the whole ball.”

Sebastian smiled as the dance came to an end and he bowed slightly. “I am honored that you think so.” He led Willow back to the piano and smiled at Mahia. “Ah, but I cannot allow this lovely lady to miss out on a dance, either. However, I have a different partner in mind.” He left the room, but returned a moment later, Finny following behind him. Mahia’s cheeks turned bright pink, as did Finny’s, when Sebastian pushed him toward her then took his place at the piano.

 Finny blinked as a scent ran into his nose. She was begining to smell like his flowers from the garden. “My Lady” he said  as he heard Sebastian begining to play an even slower song “I just want you to know that even my flowers cannot hope to be as pretty as you.”  He cleared his throat and asked “May I have this dance?

Mahia’s cheeks turned a deep shade of red at his words and she accepted the hand he offered her. They moved into the center off the room and he twirled her. She was amazed at well he danced. He seemed to read her thoughts and smiled. “Sebastian made it mandatory that all Phantomhive servants know how to dance.” he said. Mahia smiled at him as she spun back around to face him. “You do so very well.” she complimented him.His smile grew and he twirled her once more as the song came to an end.

Willow clapped for them as they took their bows. “Brava” Sebastian said as he joined in clapping “Now I do believe it is the young masters turn.” Ciel got up out of his chair and walked over “Fine.But this time I get to lead.” “Mahia if you would be so kind as to play the next piece for me” Sebastian asked politley. Sebastian walked next to Ciel and they awkwardly held hands. “Now now Master” Sebastian said “you best listen to my instructions if you wish to master dancing. Ciel gave a roll of his eyes.

Mahia nodded and began a slow song on the piano. Ciel sighed and glared at his butler. “What makes you think I want to master dancing?” he demanded irritably.  Sebastian smirked. “Whether or not you wish to, I’m afraid it is something you must do, my young lord.”  They danced for a few moments, Sebastian trying to guide Ciel throught the steps, but finally Ciel dropped his butler’s hand. “Enough of this.” he snapped. “I dance adequately well enough for the ball. Let the servants practice.”

Star has amnesia. || @mahiaemerga

starvaleroso:

Mahia felt cold… she felt almost empty. The pain was too much and she was slipping in and out of consciousness. She was vaguely aware of someone forcing her to drink, and she tried to fight. Chills ran through her body and she shuddered. Hazy thoughts flashed through her mind and tears pricked her eyes and ran down her face. “It’s my fault… It’s my fault…” she whispered. “I’m so sorry.”  She felt like she was floating and her hands grabbed at open air. Her eyes flickered open, unfocused, and she choked out a sob. “Oh gods… I’m sorry, Star!” she cried, her voice cracking. She felt like she was suffocating, like she was losing herself, like she was leaving. And she was terrified of leaving Star…

Star looked at Mahia, but she didn’t seem to get any better, she jumped as words came out of Mahia’s mouth. “No….” she chocked out. “Don’t be sorry. If anything I should be sorry for taking so long.” she didn’t want Mahia to feel sorry for anything. She looked at her again. She wasn’t getting any better. She closed her eyes and tried to breath, but it was barely working. She flung her eyes open and looked at Mahia, she wasn’t getting any better. She leaned down and grabbed Mahia’s hand giving it a squeeze. “It should work.” she was able to say between gasps. Everything around her seemed to be falling down and melting. Star knew that she was dying, but she didn’t want to admit it.

She couldn’t handle this very much longer. Mahia’s hand felt so weak in hers. She tore her gaze away from Mahia, ‘God, why am I doing this to myself. I can’t have her leave me I won’t let her.’ she thoughts started to over come her. She felt like screaming and destroying everything in her path. She did all that she could do, but she couldn’t stand just watching her die. She didn’t want to be left alone and this is what pained her so very much. She looked back at Mahia and smiled softly, trying her best to stay strong.

Star couldn’t hold the smile for very long, the falseness of it making her feel worse. There was one last thing she thought of doing, she knew the antidote was in her system, so maybe it just needed a boast. She closed her eyes and concentrated using all her energy to push whatever magic she could to Mahia. But as she pushed on she had to fight back her own tiredness even more. She stared to feel light headed. All the pain her body had went thru recently hitting her all at once. She fought it as long as she could, still pushing magic to Mahia until she didn’t have any more to give and with that she passed out; no longer having the energy to do anything else.

Mahia was drifting, falling. Everything was going blank around her, but suddenly, she felt warmth. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to snap her thoughts back. Her eyes opened slightly and her gaze fell on Star. Mahia realized that Star had been trying to save her and a small smile flickered across her lips, until the pain struck again. Her body shook and and she groaned. She knew it was time… she knew she couldn’t hold on any longer…. She found enough strength to move her hand to hold Star’s. She didn’t know whether or not the girl could hear, but she needed to speak.

“Star, thank you… thank you so much….”  her voice cracked, but she pressed on. “I am so, so sorry for this…”  She drew in a deep breath. She knew she needed to hurry. “There’s so much I wanted to say… to tell you… I thought I would have time, but I guess death’s not really very forgiving, is it?” She laughed quietly, then winced. She was fading. She could feel it. “There’s something I need to say, Star. I…” Her vision began to grow dark and it was getting harder to breathe. “I love you, Star. I love you so much… and I am so sorry…”

Her hand went limp and her eyes closed. She couldn’t fight anymore, she didn’t want to hurt. She was tired, exhausted. Maybe… maybe I should sleep. Just for a while… just for a little while…..

Star has amnesia. || @mahiaemerga

starvaleroso:

She couldn’t breathe. She felt like she was on fire, then in the next moment, like she had been soaked with icy water. Her body trembled and she bit back a pained cry, but a whimper escaped her lips. Stop… stop crying… you can’t be weak like this… She forced her eyes open and tried to push herself up slightly. Immediately, agony exploded in her gut and she couldn’t fight back a scream. Oh gods… oh gods! She drew in a shuddering breath and pushed herself up. She knew she was running out of time. “Star…?”

Star was in a dark room surrounded by broken glass, she was trying to make the antidote but nothing was working and it was making her frustrated. She slammed yet another unsuccessful vile of antidote on the counter, her head following close behind it. She didn’t feel the glass pressing into her face as she fought back the urge to cry.

Even tho Mahia meant a lot to her, all of her thoughts wanted her to give up. She sucked in a shaky breath and lifted her head, deciding to try one last time. She stirred several ingredients together and added it to the poison from the knife. She looked and watched and waited, just like she had been doing for quite some time now.

Excitement built up inside of her as she realized this batch would work, it really was going to work. But it died down as she realized she still had to get to Mahia on time. She stuck a cover on the vile of her mixture and put in into her back, but just as she opened the door to leave she fell to her knees. Something was wrong, something was very wrong. It was like she could sense how very weak Mahia was.

Star quickly made her way out of the building and onto the roof. There where she tried mustering up enough magic to transport herself back, but she couldn’t find the energy anymore. ‘Not now’ she thought to herself as fought back her urge to cry yet again, her chest starting to hurt from doing so much. She jumped off the roof, but wasn’t paying enough attention to land on her feet like she usually does. She ignored the pain in her leg as she got up from her off landing.

She needed help, but she knew of no one that could. So she started to run, for that was the best she could do at the time. She focused on her vampire self to try to pick up some extra speed and it seemed to help. Minuets later she was back at Mahia’s side. She didn’t look good, she really didn’t look good, but Star pushed back all her feelings as she dug the vile out of her bag, tore the top off it and quickly forced Mahia to drink it, the best that she could.

Mahia felt cold… she felt almost empty. The pain was too much and she was slipping in and out of consciousness. She was vaguely aware of someone forcing her to drink, and she tried to fight.
